Southern Trash and Recycling LLC was built on hard work, dedication, and a deep love for serving the East Texas community. What began as a small, family-run operation has grown into a trusted name in local waste removal — known for dependable weekly service, honest communication, and a commitment to keeping our neighborhoods clean and cared for.
For the past four years, Kalub has proudly served as an owner-operator, building Southern Trash and Recycling from the ground up with his own hands. In May 2024, Kalub was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. Even through his battle, his strength and determination continue to inspire everyone around him. While he shifts from operations to a focus on sales, his dream remains the same — to see this company grow and serve more families and communities across East Texas.
Anna, who has been with the business since the beginning, manages the office and daily operations. But when duty calls, she doesn’t hesitate to get out on the route, making sure every customer receives the care and reliability they’ve come to expect. When Kalub became ill, Anna stepped up to run the truck and keep the business moving forward — a true reflection of her dedication, resilience, and love for their shared dream.
